题名：Environmental Credit Ratings, Media Attention, and Corporate Value

摘要：Environmental credit regulation employs credit mechanisms and a multi-actor collaborative governance framework to enhance environmental management. Drawing on the resource-based view and agenda-setting theory and focusing on Chinese A-share listed firms from 2013 to 2023, this study examines the impact of environmental credit ratings on corporate value and the moderating role of media attention. The results indicate that higher environmental credit ratings significantly enhance corporate value. Media attention positively moderates the relationship between environmental credit ratings and corporate value. The value-enhancing effect of environmental credit ratings is stronger for firms receiving greater media attention. The mechanism analysis reveals that environmental credit ratings promote corporate value by attracting green institutional investors, reducing operational risk, and enhancing market competitiveness. This study provides pathways for value enhancement among green transition firms in emerging markets. It also extends the theoretical framework of corporate value determinants, offering evidence that supports global corporate sustainability-driven value creation.

丁鑫，东北林业大学经济管理学院，会计系副教授，工商管理学会计学方向带头人。中国人民大学会计学博士，哈尔滨工业大学博士后。研究方向为资本市场与财务会计，主要从事公司财务决策、绿色治理与财务信息披露研究。以第一作者在《会计研究》《European Accounting Review》《Energy Economics》《International Review of Financial Analysis》《International Review of Economics Finance》等期刊发表论文20余篇。出版专著2部，主持黑龙江省社科基金项目、黑龙江省自然科学基金项目、黑龙江省高等学校创新人才项目多项。
